Flat Ship JapanFAQ

FAQ

Will I be charged anything on top of the price I paid?
No. The price you pay covers the item, shipping and import duties in full. There is no second invoice and no customs bill on delivery.
What if the item sells out before you can buy it?
The hold on your card is released automatically — within 7 days at the latest, usually much sooner — and you pay nothing.
How long does delivery take?
We secure the item in Japan within 3 business days of your order. From there it ships via Japan Post's tracked International ePacket service; transit time after that depends on your country and its customs process.
Is there a tracking number?
Yes. We send it once the item has shipped.
What if my item arrives damaged, or never arrives?
We refund the full amount you paid, or reship the item at our cost — your choice.
Are there items you can't ship?
Yes. We can only ship what Japan Post's International ePacket service allows, which excludes certain goods (weapons, some batteries, counterfeit or restricted items, and more). If a listing turns out to be unshippable we will not place an order for it.
Why do you only sell brand-new items?
Reselling secondhand goods in Japan requires a secondhand dealer license, which we do not hold yet. Until we do, we only buy and ship items that are new.
Where do you ship to?
The United States, the United Kingdom and Australia for now.
How long is a quote valid for?
12 hours. Prices and exchange rates move, so an expired quote needs a fresh link submission.
